Long boring flight with lots of banter and lots of orders disobeyed  toothy9

Maddog became a dedicated leader tonight -- made decisions and even called the turns correctly.

Summary: 68KO's mass attack force left nothing for the dogs to cleanup except the truck convoy.

After the attack mission, we decided to go get the Axis forces pounding v67 and the base north.

Here's the top 10 for the Allied:  wtg mongrels

I was home about 30 min before start time and called ghosth about 15 min till start time. No power. It went out about an hour before I was home. Did not come back on till 9:45 my time (the last 15 min of Squad Ops) so I did not bother to log on.

Sounds like you guys had a good time. Smiley I told ghosth on the phone that KO and his squad would take out all the targets on the vehicle base before you guys had a chance to drop. Smiley

This weekend I will update our site since the Front Page extentions are working again. It will include all the practice ribbons from the previous weekend. Smiley

How many of you landed? Who was the flight lead? Outlaw and Maddog? Anyone bag a 262?

Maddog led the mud mover flight
Outlaw led the escort group

Looking at the logs I would say you guys had some good hunting.  I had two chances for a kill and missed both times.  I landed safe with forHIM at A66 without so much as a scratch on my P51.  It was nice to fly the 51 is squad colors and do so well with it.

was a good night..  thought we might be in trouble when we ran into that first group of nme's but they like us stuck to their mission instead of engaging each other..

was way over kill on targets and not enough cap place on our borders but could of been worse...

i already have a very big dislike for the map had trouble seeing anything will work on vid settings and see if i can clear it up for me..

everyone did a great job for so many not really caring for the 51..

we need to reassign Tanks crew chief maybe to the infantry corp i think as slow as he had Tanks bird he make a good marine..

i still have trouble believing KO thought it would take 20+ hvy 51's to take out a vh base  BangHead
oh well not everyone understands the true capabilities of the stang..

Where are the logs?  Can't seem to access them.

Does anyone else hate P-38's like I do?  If I see one, I will bypass a formation of enemy C-47's and go for it.  Spit 16's are a close second.

KO was not thinking it would take all of use to destroy the targets, but he wanted to overwhelm any CAP over the base. Was a good night for you guys. Wish I could have been there.

Outlaw I have been flying the P51 more and more. Starting to like it and starting to hit with it. Flew the P38L once the other day. Can't believe how much it changed in that last patch. Will have to work on how she flys. The rudder is much more sensitive than before.

yeah DD they did a number on the FM some birds really benefited from it some not so much but all had some change that require relearning them... i have read some guys not happy with the change to 38 because they claim it cut climb performance not sure as i have not flown the 38 enough to tell a difference.. i do know the 51's rudder is way more sensitive but for the stang this is a good thing as most it's best move are rudder moves..

good hunting

Ya, tried it again. The P-38L really has changed. Have to focus on that now. Was just getting used to flying that 51. Sad
