Had a ball last night after ribbon awards last night. didn't know death matches in AH2 in anything that could get off ground or out of gv hanger would be so much fun.. was a good break from sqd ops dying early into mission. And all you were worried cause i was in rear when killshooter was off and was behind you all...lol Don't know how many kills i had but the 13 kill bomb that was great. glad we let him land..lol cause i know gunsights were on him the whole time..lol while he landed his kills, And Yes maddog i had tracers off that is how i tracked you leaving spawn all the time, in field gun..lol  I was upping a JU87 with the 1800kg bomb but someone didn't let me get off the runway... nice shooting DD.. hahaha but in all i had a ball and laughed a lot behind keyboard. maybe skernsk had the logs rolling. which would of been nice..lol

watched film tally for jeep, FG, and tiger was 59 kills 3 assists

In 1997, by an act of Congress, Bob Hope was made an honorary veteran" Upon receiving the award, Bob said, " I've been given many awards in my lifetime - but to be numbered among the men and women I admire most - is the greatest honor I have ever received."

I had a blast too! My cheeks were sore by the time we were done. That was classic Heavy and in a Val no less!

Something fun about blowing squadies out of the sky! Smiley

I will see if I can post a short film of our jeep race!

Sorry no logs Sarge, didn't think we'd need them.

It was fun pulling the levers, I rarely get to do that ... and it shows.  IF I can ever get collisions turned on for GV's.  I we will be doing another Jeep race soon.  There is a skin in the CM forum of a Jeep skin .. with FLAMES.  If any of you enjoy the Air Races, you may be wanting to brush up on your Jeep skills also thumbsup

daddog will be busy handing out ribbons all morning.  I think all got Carrier Qualified.  I found it hard getting rockets done at first until we started calling out our targets.  The range was real busy there.

I call Heavy as my wingman next FSO ... I haven't had a nipping nifty award in some time and I think I want some payback.

Athough we all could have earned a NN last night I am nominating Heavy for one.  He showed true imagination and determination taking a Val out and dropping on 13 Jeeps.  I don't think 13 kills has ever been recorded for a VAL in Aces High history, so he deserves something.  Hmm, maybe he deserves to have his plane graffitied.  <opens photoshop>

Great fun.  My son kept coming in to see what all the laughing was about.  He said he hasn't heard me laugh that much ever.  We need to do that every 4th week.

Here's a few things I think would be fun to "qualify" in:

1.  bomber gunnery
2.  landing on a turning carrier (I find it somewhat easier believe it or not...)
3.  circus stunts (hanger flying, high speed passes, etc)
4.  bombing from 10k (accuracy)
5.  bombing from 20k (have gunnery training during climbout)
6.  jabo bombing
7.  death match free-for-all (like last night, most kills wins in a time frame) using any method (fair or unfair) to get a kill.  Rules? we need no stinking rules!  evil1  (ok... maybe one rule is no vulching a plane on the ground...  wait,....... nevermind)

Anyway... thanks to all for a very enjoyable evening!  You are all a great bunch of guys and I'm glad to be a part of this group!!

Does anyone else hate P-38's like I do?  If I see one, I will bypass a formation of enemy C-47's and go for it.  Spit 16's are a close second.

With enough notice we can book the SEA on any off night.

We need another dog eat dog tournament.  Perhaps we can have that at one field and more practice at another field.  Easy on the qualifying ideas Heavy, daddog is gonna have me in the basement sewing ribbons for weeks!!!! violent1

Heh, midi, should we model the snow also?  I'm all depressed, geared up for the 300 lapper and it freaking snows.

Sarge, your idea is good.  We can pair up .. everyone grad a wing.  One drives, one shoots.  In the CM tools we can crank up the hardness of the jeep so it takes a few hundred rounds rather than 2 or 3 to kill.  (of course I will need to refresh on set up tools)

I am still laughing when I think of last night.  I missed the race as I was there at the finish to make sure you all knew where to go and so I could get the winners.  I watched the film today and I almost wet myself.  Tee, from 60pmh to 0 as you hit the building.  Sarge rolling and continued on, Blutik side over side.

Was as much fun as any squad ops frame I've flow .. maybe more.

Which has got my old preverbial gears to turning.......
Since I am a member of the MOHAA {sfx} Modding Team.......

Perhaps a new trist on Medal of Honor Allied Assault, I mean we have already made an air combat game out of
it so why not a "Nascar Craftsman Truck Series" mod for MOHAA......

Lets see I already have a WWII Willies truck 3d model add some roll bars and edit the skins......

Here's what I've started.....
