I got rid of the pedals and wheel.  With three kids and sharing a desk with the wife ... I got sick of having to pack it up when done.  I would love to race, but there is no way crybaby2

i use my stick and throttle that i fly with just set the software for it up to have a deadspot in the middle of the throttle and it works as both gas and brakes in the game. probably not as good as a wheel and pedals but better then gamepad..

You online racers, here's something you might be interested it.

www.playseats.com

I found them by looking for flightsim chairs. Their current racing seat is pretty neat, a flight sim chair similar in style comes out in Sept.

Here's a shot of the racing chair, the flight sim will have two stands coming up on the sides for stick and throttle.

To be honest...I am looking for something like that. I have a Simulator that I use to get ready to race some of the track...You'll be surprise how much they are like the real thing. Since I'm going to be in the National Championships this year at Mid-Ohio....I've been working on that track all the time.

Those are nice SunKing. Man, I bet teeeRex could whip one out pretty quick.

That would be a fun road trip. Head over to visit TeeRex and Vaderr and we all build one of those chairs. Smiley

I actually ended up getting one of these systems.

http://www.gamechair.net/

I don't want to wait for the fany sim chair. Plus, it would take up extra room and then I'd have to move my monitor everytime. With this gamechair setup I'll actually save room.

I bought the cheaper red arms. My chair will look something like this but with the mouse on the left side.

Finailly I'll be able to play in comfort.

PS .. for you racers.. This setup will work for you too.

Here's a shot.
