Well that was not a good night for me. Lost a couple scouts early on (not your fault ghosth) but I was trying to follow orders and I know many of you like to scout. We never really seemed to group up after we first arrived at 26. I damaged an F4U ( I REALLY wish I got him, but at the top of his zoom I had to break off for fear of ramming) It turned out to be 38MAW who is an excellent stick and got several of us including me 20 minutes later. I had him several times but he was full of micro warps. My connect was poor. Twenty minuts later I was about to nail one F4U and had checked my six. I knew I had time, but at times planes were zipping in and out of range. His buddy zipped in suddenly and nailed me. Sad Ah well life goes on. I was bummed out because I had been doing well in the Ki-84. Thursday I shot down 9 in two sorties.

Gospel – 1 kill
HeavyH – 2 kills
Maddog – 2 kills
TANK – 1 kill
TCE – 1 kill
Wklink – 1 kill

We bagged 8 and 6 of us were killed, but I think 10 of us were shot down.

I guess I was the sole survivor.  I re-armed for the second time and orbited for another half hour or so hoping those SBD's would show up.  They never did.  I landed when the CO called the frame over.  I shot up a few other planes, but was down to bb's on some of them.  That F4U is a tank! (unless I am flying it, then its a "one ping" wonder)

Does anyone else hate P-38's like I do?  If I see one, I will bypass a formation of enemy C-47's and go for it.  Spit 16's are a close second.

Actually heavy, according to the logs 4 dogs landed safely (although I think 1 was at the begining of the frame), so 3 actually landed after engaging the enemy.

Sarge appreared to have connection issues last night as he rolled and disco'd never to be seen again.

Yea! I got my first squad ops kill!  Can I get a whoop whoop  occasion14

I landed but had some problems taxying down to refuel- kept veering off to the right, even with full left rudder.

I decided to call it a night, but forgot I was not completely on the runway  sad7

Rowdy did really well as a wingman- stuck to me like glue.   icon_salut

was talking about joysticks. about how old mine was and still working. spawned out SW with the rest and all of a sudden joystick light went out, and AH cause a CTD. Then when i came back in no stick. checked in device prop. and it wasn't there. switched over to win ME and stick worked. some how USB drivers were knocked out on XP. had to refresh USB in device prop. USB drivers reinstalled and had to reconfigure stick to get it back to work. unplug and replug in USB connection and JS worked again. Don't know why it did that . but when i came back in they said time was up. Then went from tower to tower doing radar duty and spotting for enemy. took some AH film while in tower of dogs near 26 in dogfights over Field 26.

This game is making it hard for me to reach 100 missions think i only have two to go and CTD's aren't helping it
