This was one of our better nights....we pretty much stayed together and covered each other....I know JK...I chased a couple away from the pack..but they went down   angel12  even if by tryin to out manuver my lousily aimed rounds .....  and TCE  way to lead     icon_salut.....I have no idea how you kept your bunch from scattering ..... you must have been silently whippin 'em into shape for the past week or so...   evil

Anyways  last night was one of my most enjoyable squad events.   I enjoyed the banter and actually flew a while before being forced to land.
It was nice to meet Gospel.  Obviously he is well respected.

Still cant hit anything with these guns tho     BangHead

My night was a nightmare.  Axis squads had low turnouts, sides were not balanced.  Set-up CM was overworked and needed some help with a couple of issues.  I spent more time hitting 'X' and flying than anything for the first 45 minutes.  At one point I ended up almost a sector south of the city.  I had to go AFK a couple times to deal with the kids also ... they just didn't want to settle last night.

I know that there are some pissed of Axis squads which kind of takes the fun out of it for me.  However, we had one of those nights where we flew for close to an hour joking and carrying on ... and then had a fierce scrap with alot of bad guys.  That was nice - I am still thinking I missed a great opportunity shooting down forHIM ... maybe next week evil

I went AFK a few times too, but I made sure to be heading north and I reduced rpms/man so I wouldn't be 2 sectors away.  I think Maddog just gave up on trying to keep track of me.  The low group seemed to be very loose, but we covered the city well.  Usually had someone on each side of it at all times Smiley

And on that great opportunity, I appreciate you holding your fire.  I couldn't beleive it when I managed to steal that kill from you and still not get shot.  I'm glad friendly collisions aren't on because I would have been toast.  Went right through your virtual airframe and ended up with the perfect shot opportunity  grin

That's a good number of kills.

I was really impressed with the skill level of all the mongrels!   <S>

I was on "information overload" for most of the night  confused2 , but enjoyed it none the less.

It has been a long time (5 years!) since I last flew with the mongrels, and has only been 3 weeks back in aces high.

Sorry, I got seperated from the pack and the end and died a horrible death, low and too slow.  smiley

I had a good time. Was great to see you flying with us again last night Gospel. Smiley

Here are a couple screen shots I took. One is forHIM and I after we just bagged an La5. Another is a La5 that wanted to head on with me. I obliged and he lost. Wink After several short actions I ended up low and slow over the city. I tried to help out Sour and forHIM, but there was too many. Smiley

Ghosth:  was there a reason you were flying the uber G2 model?  Just saw that you were in a different bird than us.  I know some people like the G2 over the g6.  Was just curious.

Oh, I had not noted that.
Maybe his G6 was in for repairs. My guess he was trying to get his mechanics to mount rockets under the wings and they were not done. Wink
