Ok, since I didn't play BF42, I need a little help in game controls:

1. How do you "chat"  or at least send messages to you're squad or side?
2. Is there a transmit key for the VOIP program?
3. how do you start a mutiny or kick?
4. Is there a way to squelch ( or voice squelch) individuals?

Is there a guide to some of the lingo?  "dolphin'ing"?

online or offline for #1 for number 2 i dont know what VOIP is for 3 to start a mutany or kick in options it should say something about vote on if it has an x in the box click the box and the x should disapear when you get online in a server press  the tab key and right click your mouse you should have a  little box that says MANAGE click on it and the person you want to kick there should be a box by the names click the box it should say your name wants to kick so an sos name and the players will have a vote for number for 4 i dont know. ps:i read the manual alot so i know this stuff and im still a  newbie at bf2 so if this advise does not help email me at 94cody@bellsouth.net

Offline is so, so -- no real campaing, so all you are doing is playing against the AI engine.  The AI engine has 3 levels and I tired the first two before going online and the "easy" & "veteren" settings are pathetically easy compared to online.  I think that the game is geared towards online play or lan play (lan party style -- 6-10 real players).

ok for offline press Q to bring up the message menu use your mouse to select the phrase you want to say sometimes the offline AI dont listen to you and say "SORRY NO CAN DO", but most of the times when you are the squadleader or commander the allways listen to you but online its diffrent most of the time the ignore you when you ask them for a ride thats a pain on the butt so thats all i can tell you MRMIDI might know a little more about it i mean im just akid and it takes kids a little more time to learn things if you know what i mean

Littlemidi, I wish I could get sondog to write as much as you do. Smiley

I have a question of my own for you BF2 players.

I splurged and purchased the BF2 Special Forces since Jed and I have enjoyed many LAN games with the regular BF2. The first time we tried a LAN game with BF2 Special Forces it came up with a message that said you have to revert back to the regular BF2 for a LAN game. Is this correct? Has anyone played a LAN game with BF2 Special Forces?
