windows messenger from my task bar when it starts up?

Using WinXP, but don't see a way to take it off so it will not start up when I reboot.

Thanks!

Click start,   click run

copy paste this in    " RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove "

hit enter.

It will ask you to reboot...

reboot.

MS msg  all gone..

OF course this will remove it from your pc... so if you use this msnger service... dont do the above. You are stuck with it on your system.
you could run "mscofig.exe"  to remove it from the start up menu.
