332nd Fighting Mongrels Awards
The awards represented here are listed in descending order of importance, from highest to lowest possible award for valor and heroism. The list is purposely kept small, so as to increase the meaningfulness of being awarded a medal. Additional medals and awards that are appropriate may be added in the future.
*Note*: Medals may be awarded for acts of bravery and valor to soldiers, sailors and pilots. Acts of valor qualifying for an award must be witnessed by at least two members of the 332nd Fighting Mongrels, not including the nominee. Medals and awards may only be awarded for acts of valor that occur during our regularly scheduled squad night on Saturday night. This is to encourage squad night participation.
These medals may resemble the awards of real U.S. Military Awards and Medals. This by no means to belittle or take lightly the medals that are awarded to real US personal who have served our country and received these medals in honor and valor. We salute all U.S Military Personal and the Medals they have been awarded and cherish the sacrifice they have made for our Country.
The 332nd Fighting Mongrels may recommend, (other than themselves) for recognition by submitting a request for an award.
Below awards are listed with a brief description of each. Not all awards are available for submission because some are given out only once a year at the end of the year.
